NuBurn fireplace surrounds are backed by a 3-year warranty against water damage, giving you lasting peace of mind. Each surround is also available with durable, stain-resistant and impact-resistant finishes, designed to stand up to everyday wear while maintaining their striking appearance.
Well cured concrete is rated about 2,500 lbs per square inch compressive strength. The tensile capabilities of our material, (bending and flexing properties) because of the correct blend of fibreglass and certain polymers, far exceed that of any known stone or rock. The product behaves much like plywood in certain respects, particularly when prepared from one quarter inch to one and a half inch thickness. It can therefore be drilled, screwed, nailed, sawed and cut. The material has passed the most stringent fire codes and tests. 100% non-porous, 100% non-combustible, UV Stable and no freeze thaw degradation.
